Our vision is to create a safer and more equitable future for our next generation through world language and culture education.
At We As One, we thrive to use world language and culture as a bridge to provide all students, educators and community members a richer sense of who we are, where we come from, and what we can build together through real-life opportunities.
At We As One Camp, our K–8 campers explore big ideas like inclusion and belonging, and we believe one of the best ways to build community is through play! Just take a look at the joyful moments from our Carnival Day at The Blake School! We danced, we chanted, and our amazing high school counselors led campers through a variety of games—many inspired by traditional Chinese culture.
Our 2025 We As One Camp theme is "Our Community, Our Superpowers!", a celebration of everyday strengths and small virtues such as kindness, courage, and the richness of multilingual and multicultural identities. On our final day at the Blake School Camp, amidst the busy schedule, we managed to squeeze in a few spontaneous “interviews” with our Camp Counselors and the youngest campers (Green Group), asking them a simple, unscripted question: “What’s your superpower?” Here’s what they shared.
We were thrilled to welcome Ms. Jing Li and Ms. Grace Li, co-founders of the environmental nonprofit ZIRAN (ziran.ngo), to bring environmental education in Chinese language to our 2025 We As One Blake School Camp classrooms!
2025 We As One Camp is officially underway at The Blake School! We’re excited to welcome our campers and begin two weeks of language, culture, and community!
